Upon its release, fans were shocked by the book’s climax, finding it difficult to read yet unable to look away. The moment the book was released, it became an instant hit with thriller fans!

Lisa Jewell’s None of This is True focuses on Alix Summer, a popular podcaster, who is celebrating her 45th birthday at a local pub. She meets Josie Fair, who is also celebrating her 45th birthday, which sounds like a coincidence, but Alix doesn’t pay much attention to it.
That is, until Alix bumps into Josie again outside her children’s school. Josie has a goal, and she wants to appear on Alix’s podcast, insisting she should interview her. Alix has reservations about the whole thing, but she agrees, and things go downhill from there.

On June 3, 2024, Deadline announced that a movie adaptation of the hit thriller book “None of This is True” was in development.
At the time of writing this article, the movie is still in pre-production, but a writer has been assigned to create the script, so we can hope that some information about the movie will be released soon.
As such, there is currently no release date associated with the project.
Who is the Cast & Crew of the None of This is True Film?
As previously mentioned, the movie is still in pre-production, and a cast list has not been announced; however, this hasn’t stopped fans from casting their favorite actors and actresses as the ones they think would be perfect for the roles.
Rosamund Pike, best known for portraying complex women in psychological thrillers, has been the top fan pick to play Alix, but nothing’s official yet.
However, I won’t discuss the fan-casting much and will wait for the official cast announcement.

After a tense bidding war, Netflix won the rights to adapt and distribute the movie adaptation of Lisa Jewell’s None of This is True. Molly Sims and her production company, Something Happy Productions, as well as Modern Magic, are involved in the movie’s production.
The book’s author, Lisa Jewell, will serve as an executive producer on the project, and Eleanor Burgess is in charge of writing the movie’s script.
