Callie Hart’s “Quicksilver” is a highly addictive fantasy romance novel that quickly became popular among literary circles within a short time of its release. Due to its sheer popularity, it was only a matter of time before Quicksilver book 2 was released!
The second book in the Fae & Alchemy Series has already been announced, its title has been revealed, and it has a release date!
Quicksilver book 2 is titled “Brimstone,” and it is set to hit the shelves on November 18, 2025!
Originally, Callie Hart planned to release Brimstone in October 2024, but the date was pushed to November 2025. Considering that the first book was released in June 2024, I think pushing the release date to this year was a good decision.
One of BookTok’s favorites, this enemies-to-lovers romantasy book follows Saeris Fane, who inadvertently opens a portal between realms and finds herself in a completely different world, right in the middle of a centuries-long conflict!
The second book promises to be more chaotic than the first because by Quicksilver’s ending, Saeris had transformed into a half-fae, half-vampire powerhouse, and she’s probably also the strongest Alchemist ever.
The first book’s insane twist ending has left fans with unanswered questions, and the sequel would definitely focus on some of them!
Since the first book in the series, Quicksilver, was titled after the mysterious alchemical substance that Saeris can manipulate and even speak to, the second book might focus on the FMC mastering the next element!
It won’t be long before we read more about Saeris and Kingfisher because the BRIMSTONE is only a couple of months away!
And there’s another good news! Callie Hart’s Quicksilver has been picked up for an adaptation by Netflix. While it’s still unclear if Netflix will adapt the books into a movie or a TV series, we will see our favorite characters in live-action soon!

How Many Books Will Be In The Fae & Alchemy Series?
On her website’s FAQ page, Callie Hart has mentioned that she intends this romantasy series to be a trilogy, so there will be one more book after Brimstone.
However, the author also plans to write additional spinoff books, at least two of which have been planned for now, featuring the series’ side characters. This could change based on the author’s desire, and we could get more books in the future!
